Club Coach Youth Workshops Port Arthur Curling Centre – October 17, 2026
Club Coach Youth is designed for coaches who do not require certification but become involved on a voluntary (and often short-term) basis. Participants tend to work with curlers of all ages who are new to the sport, but most particularly with Little Rock Curlers. Coaches who take this one day (1 day) workshop will become “Club Coach Youth Trained”. This coach will be able to instruct beginning curlers and youth curlers. A Club Coach Youth instructor will concentrate on the technical skills and leading curlers in activities that are age suitable and technically correct.
Prerequisite: Participants must be 14 years of age or older on the first day of the workshop.
**Curling Ontario programs are ONLY available to registrants who are members of Curling Ontario affiliated clubs.
**PLEASE NOTE: In order to register, participants require an NCCP number. If you do not already have one, you will have to register with the Coaches Association of Canada. Instructions on how to get your NCCP number are on the Curling in Ontario website HERE.
In order to register for this workshop, individuals must complete a "Curler Profile".
